Overview

A command-centred military apparatus built around verified authority, surveillance and conditioned obedience.

Full account

Ash formations are trained for boarding, suppression and operations under severe losses. Their obedience runs through command codes and mission architecture.

Layered authentication and suspicion of irregular orders distinguish this system from Seraph possession. Useful soldiers are not the same prize as officers whose identities can grant access.

The surviving formations described at Ardent belong to later-story preview material. Their fate is not an outcome already established by the Chapter 02 investigation. The detailed ship and equipment designs shown here remain provisional.
