Overview

Human war clans whose survival traditions hardened into hereditary martial privilege.

Full account

During the collapse of western relay chains, armed clan companies protected evacuation convoys and held failing stations. Armour became hereditary, ships became mobile estates and captains became nobles.

Prestige still flows through victories, captured ships and blood-debts. Engineers and traders gain standing largely through the campaigns they sustain.

That culture can be exploited by outside powers offering a worthy enemy, salvage or revenge. Winning battles does not guarantee control over the reasons for fighting them.

These human clans are separate from the Talyrn Kharad training institution. Their fleet and ground-role designs are provisional interpretations of the supplied cultural profile.
