Overview

A repair-centred civilization combining durable industry with ecological stewardship.

Full account

The Compact emerged from industrial collapse: exhausted soil, polluted reservoirs and systems driven beyond sustainable tolerances. It rebuilt around slower production, reuse and cultivated infrastructure.

Mechanists learn metalwork, systems engineering and cultivation together. Maintained patina records service rather than neglect.

Its ships use repeatedly rebuilt hulls, redundant machinery and biological filtration. The proposed fleet and ground roles extend that emphasis on endurance, recovery and maintenance; their exact class identities remain provisional.
