Overview

Collect remote observations without exposing a crew.

Role and service

Telltale is an uncrewed instrument platform. Folding sensor booms and separated optical apertures gather observations from a compact service core, while small attitude-control nozzles orient the payload. There is no cabin, passenger space or defensive armament.

Recognising the hull

A squat hexagonal instrument core, unequal folding booms and ceramic service tiles distinguish the probe.

Operational limits

The probe cannot defend itself. Its observations still require verification and do not establish unquestionable sensor truth.
