Overview

Ardent Bastion is the heavy military station responsible for protecting Ardent’s industrial worlds. Its fleet facilities make it the region’s military center and a crucial link between industrial output and deployed force.

History

Bastion holds the largest concentration of Ardent fleet mass during the campaign. Its capture breaks the old military command. Surrendered personnel are screened, with suitable technical staff returned to work.

The later Ardent setting

A rebuilt fleet fortress with expanded defensive rings, protected docks and permanent Seraph Hunter quarters. House batteries replace old mounts; ammunition magazines move behind armor. Rebuilt yards support the frontier and Kestrel mercenaries train here.

  • Ardent Central

    Ardent Central is the judicial and administrative heart of Ardent. Its public institutions, civilian docks and inhabited rings serve a population whose daily life continues around the machinery of government.

  • Ardent Gatehold

    Ardent Gatehold is a separate security station orbiting an ancient megagate. It protects passage and administers approach credentials, authentication, relay handshakes, emergency closures and navigation records.

  • Ardent agricultural world

    An inhabited agricultural world appears in the recovered record of Ardent territory. Its presence establishes that Ardent is supported by settled worlds as well as stations.

  • Ardent mining world

    An inhabited mining world is one of Ardent’s recorded territories. It establishes an extraction economy alongside the state’s agriculture and industrial infrastructure.

  • Ardent industrial planet

    The recovered Ardent records include a small industrial planet with large orbital yards. Together, planet and yards form a visible part of the infrastructure behind Ardent’s larger-than-declared power.

  • Ardent restricted administrative colony

    Recovered territorial records list another colony as a restricted administrative territory. The designation establishes controlled access, but does not by itself reveal what happens there.
