Overview

Ardent Central is the judicial and administrative heart of Ardent. Its public institutions, civilian docks and inhabited rings serve a population whose daily life continues around the machinery of government.

Ardent Central is the judicial and administrative heart of Ardent. Its public institutions, civilian docks and inhabited rings serve a population whose daily life continues around the machinery of government.

History

Formerly the center of Ardent Judicial Authority, Central contains the Special Custody complex whose records expose Project Shepherd. House forces secure the capital and preserve evidence while protecting civilian life. Under House administration, Justicar courts operate openly, screened civil servants return to duty, and markets, schools and traffic resume.

The later Ardent setting

Administrative heart of the Hjertstedt Ardent March. Civilian access, food distribution and medical traffic remain central functions. Defensive collars and a separate outer patrol fortress protect approaches without turning the civic station into Bastion.

Historical archive

The archive chamber shown in this collection belongs to the historical Special Custody setting. It is distinct from the public courts and civic administration. The earlier Ardent Judicial Relay entry follows that part of the story.

    The recovered Ardent records include a small industrial planet with large orbital yards. Together, planet and yards form a visible part of the infrastructure behind Ardent’s larger-than-declared power.

    Recovered territorial records list another colony as a restricted administrative territory. The designation establishes controlled access, but does not by itself reveal what happens there.
