Overview

A sector-command fortress built around an asteroid becomes a responsibility before it becomes an ally.

Full account

Sera receives a thirty-day salvage claim in place of payment at Terminus Spire. Kestrel’s surviving civilians and Halden Rook’s garrison prove that the abandoned fortress is not empty.

Sera’s contract protects everyone, including non-signers. Joel’s House call brings relief, but the station’s commander authorizes the defence. Formal affiliation comes afterward at the Acceptance Table.

Chapter 02 opens with restoration. Kestrel’s local identity and Sera’s authority persist alongside House support. Its defensive shield is six Vigils, two destroyers, one Oath and one Sanctuary.
