Overview
Travelling as Anton Berg, the Breach Commander combines direct action with disciplined protection. His armour and equipment change with the mission, carrying the damage of earlier fights.
Full account
Anton accompanies his brother aboard the Wayward Star under the name Anton Berg. The Kestrel crisis reveals their House allegiance. He fights within the defence Sera commands, and later appears publicly as Breach Commander.
Chapter 02 begins in public command clothing at the restored Kestrel. The brothers subsequently return to civilian cover and accept an assault contract aboard Mara Vale’s Resolute Dawn. Garran Holt’s prisoner Marek Soren is the centre of an escort operation bound for Ardent Judicial Relay.
Anton’s heavy pistol stays on his anatomical-right side. His separate compact breaching hammer does not replace it. In covert civilian cover the hammer is absent; during combat the heavier suit carries mission-specific breach equipment.
The suits are initially transported unworn. Full armour begins with Mara’s authorization during the ambush. Anton’s left shoulder is damaged in Scene 08; the later armour sheet retains that gouge. After the fighting, civilian coats return over flexible undersuits.
At Ardent, the investigation exposes fraudulent custody and Project Shepherd. House intervention targets Special Custody while protecting civilian traffic and preserving evidence. The supporting fleet remains dark. The Chapter 02 record does not identify the non-human buyers as the Seraph Throne.
